just passing by the boat . a female furseal looking on when she was passing through ,and heading out to look for food for her pup . Posted by Picasa
The picture you have is a picture of a 2 or 3 year old sub adult male. At this time of the year all the females are on the beach feeding their pups or out somewhere else finding food and hardly ever stop even if they are curious
